AT, I haven't been keeping up. What happened to being a OTR driver? I mean, I understand you want home time, but doing dock work and driving a few miles here and there is hardly the American Trucker whose stories I enjoyed reading last year. Did you really dislike it on the road or just really miss being (semi)normal?

it looks more like one of the toter home freightliners a lot of racers use instead of a truck sleeper.
Dennis_Miller Thanks this. -
-
No way that's a sleeper on a truck. That's a RV. Normally those guys that haul those dragster cars have them..
FLATBED Thanks this. -
Thats not a sleeper , just by the length from where whoever took the picture was standing to the end wall you can tell its too long for a tractor. Looks more like a RV or converted lounge in the front of a race trailer
-
those freightline toter homes are basically an rv, the chassis is longer than normal and the rv box is placed on the back and the trailer pulled behind with a small fifth wheel or ball hitch. its basically an rv on a truck chassis. a good many late model teams use them.

Central has a daytime linehaul run pulling triples here, and forgive me lord becuase I have sinned but I thought about it. Really getting sick of the night line right now. But their sterlings are junk and they get pulled over alot but its def a downgrade from con-way..
