So far I've been keeping busy, back on duty Wed and scored a nice run to Auburn WA with a stop in Spokane.
finally seem to be getting the hang of things, definitely a learning curve but I like it. Not crazy about my truck, The series 60 Detroit is matched with a 8speed and I think its been taken down to 400hp, most major passes are 30 mph in 5-6 gear:biggrin_2556: when fully loaded which seems to be the norm, miss the 13speed :biggrin_2553: Oh well as long as the miles are there and good home time I think I'm going to like it. Have to reset at the Loves in Tacoma tomorrow then should be getting a load back east.

I think the Pete would be sweet, glad to see you still able to team. Hey make sure you take the microwave out from under the desk , I knew I was still forgetting something. I don't need it, the wife had one left over from her class so I'm using that. She finally got a teaching job with Manatee county so things are looking better. Resetting in Tacoma, might hop on the train and check out Seattle tomorrow.

This is a great post I read through it all about a week ago from start to finish. Heyl is hiring 10 drivers where I live and I am going to be getting my CDL from a community college soon. Sorry if I missed this but will Heyl hire new drivers fresh out of college?

not really if its not safe to drive they wont force you however if you are in a area and u say u are going to shut down but in the same area there are 3 other drivers who are still moving but havent had to chain up they will expect u to do the same
