Probably like most other companies, this one will kick your butt afterwards. I was let go on May 30th of this year, because of damaged dockdoor, that I did NOT cause. I took several photo's of the dockdoor and it shows there's no way my trailer could've caused that damage. Then they told me on 5/30 I had a few mistakes on my logbook from January '12 and November '11. Isn't that a little too late to mention mistakes. Everybody can make a mistake after a 14 hour shift. And just for fun they added some nice things on my DAC report, that I'm trying to get off now.

This company is definitely student orientated, and do not care about their drivers. Home time was always an issue, missed a lot of miles on my paychecks, and it took them 3-4 weeks to fix that. The only positive thing I can say about this company is that I was put in a brand new Freightliner, and that's it. You're nothing but a number, and the lack of experience from most dispatchers won't make things better OR easier for the driver.

One more last thing....May 30 was my last day, and I'm still calling back and forth with them to get my last paycheck. So be careful with USA SUCK !

I'm glad I went with my instincts then. Almost went with them until I read all the posts on here.

Thanks for the info driver and good luck with your situation.

Well known that USA Truck is bottom of the barrel. Good to see a post now and then to remind the new drivers though.

curious to know what you mean by "your just a number to the company" I always hear that but didn't quite catch it. What a number like "they can hire many more drivers.

It means that they only know you as a truck # & not a name.

Yea, and if the dispatcher doesn't get you a trip before 1600 on Friday. You're screwed. That means sitting at the truck stop all weekend. Or they will give you a 200 mile trip that doesn't deliver until Tuesday.

I work local now. I get percentage of what truck makes. The owner of the company will walk down and bull**** with ya. I think I found a home. I get two days off every week. We drive nothing but long nose Peterbuilts. I take that back. They do have one of those new Cat trucks. USA can go jump off a Cliff. Pun intended.:biggrin_25519:

A lot of people I went to school with have had horrible experiences with USA; i.e. one girl got fired when she was WITH HER TRAINER!! because she got a ticket for not having the tandems at 41 feet in TN; another guy quite on them after 6 months and 2 weeks cause his biggest paycheck after taxes was $309.20 (I think he said after taxes .. I HOPE he said after taxes) ... yeah so if you absolutely HAVE TO go thru that driver solutions thing, forget USA, go PAM (not saying they're perfect either but ...)

I think you have to put up with crap for a few years before you really can work for a company that cares for its drivers. Last thing about USA SUCK: took them 4 weeks to pay me my last check after several phone calls...
