I apologize. I read it wrong. I tend to do that when angry over other things.
We need 2nd chance companies for people do make mistakes and turn around from them. It's life and no one is perfect. Just some got caught is all
Carolina Cargo is better than ever for new drivers with a felony.

CountryCuz if you are a felon, I am happy you found a Company that will give you that much needed second chance to turn your life around. If I see someone on here looking for a company to give them that second chance to turn their life around I will quickly point out this carrier.

And forgive me for doing math......you take home $600 a week......so that roughly works out to $800 pre tax, and at .10 a mile, works out to 8,000 miles.... a week......which means you drive (at 50 mph).......160 hours a week or, 22.86 hours a day.
All I gotta say is, U D Man, brother...... -

He said he is beyond that stage. Re-read...

you need to reread it too
what he said was $.10 plus per diem 59x7 plus miles is reasonable
not good pay but reasonable -
I'm leaving for this company on next Wednesday. After getting 2 misdemeanors on my record and completing a 380 hour driving class they are the ONLY company who will give me a chance. I've called and applied for literally, HUNDREDS of companies and heard no HUNDREDS of times. The pay isn't great but for a new driver like me in my position is experience is priceless. I will update to guys as on how I'm being treated and how the company operates. When no one will hire me and treats me like p.o.s. criminal, having a company who WILL hire me and actually PAY me money is a lot better than sitting at home while my CDLs go to waste. I couldn't even get a class b job with my background. But after a year on probation all my charges will be dropped because i was a first time offender. Then I can have my pick of companies. Seems like a lot of trouble for growing a plant huh?
DJFrog87, ScandBro, mjfreespirit and 1 other person Thank this. -
Yeah im a couple hours away from the place myself, but they told me if I couldn't catch a ride they would have a truck pick me up. I can't complain because a crap job is better than no job, and with what I've been thru I know I will appreciate the job that much more.
