If I had known about this web site before yesterday then I could have planned it better. If you have something constructive to offer I'm all ears but I'm really not interested in your criticism and stories about how everyone that has never worked for Prime became such experts on them.

I was responding to the POST you made about the GENIUSES not criticizing , but with your ATTITUDE I am sure you will have more to say. So good luck and I will not bother you.

I'm sorry but your attitude to fellow drivers sucks, this is a 'prime' example of not researching before committing. Take it as a lesson learned and move on without the crap comments back at us. I feel the whole story is not being told (as usual). There are reasons a driver with 19 years experience decides to lease at Prime in the first place and then fails, we're back to attitude.

I've been operating my own truck not company trucks and I didn't have these issues. I have had two constructive comments sense I put this information out. There is nothing wrong with my attitude I was trying to help other truckers not criticize someone. If I had known you were all so well informed I wouldn't have bothered. Hows that for attitude?

If you owned your own truck why didn't you keep it and lease on with someone?

I can understand you being upset given the situation. But just take it as a lesson learned and move on...easy to say but hard to do I'm sure. :biggrin_2554: There's no crying in baseball! Just refocus, get yourself a plan, and get it together so you can start making money! :biggrin_25520: With 19 years of experience I'm sure you'll get back on your feet in a short time.

I sold my truck when fuel prices went up a dollar a gallon and the pay to haul freight stayed the same. I leased on with Sammons out of Montana but they were constantly trying to screw me out of money so I went back to running under my own authority and I was doing good until the fuel prices went through the roof. The reason I did the Prime lease was to test the waters to see what is currently being paid to haul freight without signing on the doted line for a $100,000.00 five year truck loan. The freight is there and the money is better than it was when I sold my truck but the only way to control the money is to run under your own authority as a contract hauler. There is no middle man between you and the shipper you negotiate the pay for each load and they pay on delivery or they don't get the product. Most of the shippers I worked for paid in advance. The other thing is this DEF compliant rule , there are a lot of trucks having major issues with the DEF systems on their new trucks.
