i havent posted in awhile but i am still with central company driver never forced leased. I average over 3000 a week and i home in the 12 to 20 range. If you run hard for them dont take no #### you shouldnt have a problem, my idle has been high sometimes grow some balls when they try to take the money out and you will get it back. I have had the same attitude the whole time do your job dont take #### what is the worst that can happen you get to go home if they fire you. I listen to people crying about miles run hard dont be late thats it and the idle deal is if you run hard and do your miles you shouldnt have any problems but you know what if its 65 outside you dont need to idle all night either

ya know what i think i'll take that bet. One thing you dont relise her is i run containers and i'm willing to bet double or nothing that you have no idea how container hauling works. Yep container hauling my man is a out and back gig you have to get the box back so it can get on the boat. Theres no multi pickups or drop offs 1 stop and you turn and burn. No quallcoms and paper logs thats how all these container yankers do it. Thats how im home every night. I lead a normal life, i get to see my kids grow up, i get to play around with my hot rods , i get to go fishing and hunting on the weekends and i get to drive a big ole rooster cruiser everyday and guess what im making money. Theres no shortage of freight in the port theres actually more to haul than we have drivers. Freight is up espically for imports. I can tell ya right now jj ranch has seen my settlement sheets he knows what im making . He also knows what central owner ops average. And i can gurantee you you are not even in the same leauge as me. Ya know why? Thats because you have to stay away from home and run your ### off plus pile students on your truck and run seven days straight where i run 5 days. So send me a fax number or give me your co driver id so i can get central to send me a copy of your pay settlements . And ill be happy to send you mine. Or hell you can call road link your self and give them this driver number 26198 thats me ask for ann and tell her whats going on here i'll inform her tomorrow about it so theres not a problem. Oh the phone number is( 912 963-1111 ). Ill be waiting on your info.

Chevy is right but you shouldnt have to worry about idling but Central also is no angel of a company. There are better companies out there but they require expperience and we all had to start some where.

there is a lot of better companies out there but i could run for them or just stay where i am at happy cause right now local pay sucks ### so i will stay out i dont really go passed missouri now anyways so i am around a lot and i forgot turning down loads can be done as a company driver i do it all the time if i dont want to go out there on the east coast but to actually do it right its all in the planning and always letting your dm know when your going to be there let them know a day or 2 early bug them keep sending in the macs and you will be ok

you unhook the fuel retubn line and place a dine inbetween the connection at the fuel tank or if theres a connection ib the middle of the line do it there its a lot easier to get to. What this does it creates greater back pressure on the injectors dumping more fuel in the cylender thus causing a hotter fire and more speed. The hotter the explosion on the down stroke makes the pistons move faster therefore making the truck run faster. The truck then has no choice but to reset its self in the ecm to allow for the extra speed.. Oh and before anyone accuses me of being criminal here i was told this by a deisel mechanic whos legit. I have not done this myself so i haven't broke any laws but i do know a few who have done this and they all say it works wonderfully.

i dont think your a criminal but i know on the company trucks if you hit a downhill and hold the resume on the cruise control you can get 65 and on the o/o trucks the same thing will get you 68 i have driven both it works i havent driven a l/o truck in a while so i could be wrong there but my truck does it. Obviously i am bored at home replying been listening a lot i will talk now lol

another thing on this stealing from the company thing. you gotta look at it this way. that truck is YOUR office. It is YOUR home. now yes it may be centrals truck but it is centrals fuel being used in centrals truck. now stealing would be taking fuel outta the truck to put in your deisel pickup to get you home from the terminal. ya see these guys in the office have a/c and heat they also have a/c and heat in their big old houses also they are gonna stay warm and comfy at night while you are out sleeping along the road side covered with 4 blankets trying to stay warm or laying up in 100 degree heat in the middle of the day tring to sleep with the windows down. is it fair for them to live all nice and comfertable while you dont? they are the ones that are stealing from YOU. if you were gonna tella one of the suits up in salt lake he had to with out a/c when he slept you would get a big ole f you. how do you think these guys afford these big old houses, country club memberships and fancy cars ? its by making guys like you suffer thru the elements while they save on fuel and stuff their pockets. like i said that is your office and home you have to be comfortable in order to get a good nights rest so you can stay safe and alert out on the road. so really it aint stealing at all. allit is is suffling numbers around to keep you cool or warm and them thinking your not over idleing. its their truck and their fuel being used on company business. and as long as your in that truck your on company business. wheather your loaded or not. if they are making you sit waiting on a load your still on company business.
