Well this load kind of sucks. Pick up in Eugene OR and deliver in Boise ID. Navigo route is 540 miles yet paid miles are only 439. That's 101 non paid miles. Shortest route are taking back roads over the mountains, slow going but shorter and there wouldn't be any places to fuel up. Navigo sticks to the interstates.

If it were me I'd take shortest route by time. It's your 11/14/70 .

Most likely taking I5 north to I84 east to Boise would take the least amount of time if not less. It's a 44,000 lb load and last time I took US20 over the mountains it was slow going. Very steep, very winding narrow roads. I'd have to take OR 126 to get to US 20 and I've never been very far down it and havnt checked to see if it has restrictions. Definitely going to stick to the interstates though, nub easier and most likely quicker.
Finished my live load at 0800 this morning and have to wait until 1200 for my drop and hook to be ready. -

Went to pick up at P&G in Lima, OH. Load isn't ready for another 3 hours minimum when I got there.
Went and got my truck washed while I'm waiting. Blue beacon did a pretty good job, they didn't quite wash all the soap off the roof but at least it's not coated in bugs any more.
I know it's a company truck and I really have no incentive to take care of it, but I just can't understand how you can't even be bothered to keep a $130k truck clean. I know they have their truck washes, but those things suck.
