    Just watched the video again. I see that on a daily basis going into the city especially in the morning, it is surprising that people are clueless when merging into traffic, both 4 wheelers were clueless as to what was going on I did not see brake lights or much of an attempt to accelerate from either one. I don't think you did much wrong, except now you know merging traffic like that keep an eye out for that stuff, learn to anticipate that kind of stuff. I try to stay as far left of merging traffic as I can, or as far right as I can, if traffic is merging from the left. This time next year it will all be second nature to you.

    My apologies. I coulda swore you said you got your CDL on your own with no school. Must have mixed you up with someone else.

    So basically you have gone the same route most have. School, then a job. You just haven't had any real time training is all.

    Don't take my posts to you the wrong way. I'm just trying to stress that you are still learning. The first thing I tell my students is to leave their ego off the truck because they will make mistakes and they will need to deal with criticism.

    Oh, no worries, I have a very thick skin. And I've read enough of your posts during the time I've been a member here to know that your posts aren't meant solely to antagonize others and attempt to force them to share your bitterness towards life in general like so many others that frequent this site. :)

    What you're probably thinking of is where I posted that the O/O that I'm working for got his CDL by hopping in the truck and passing the road and written tests with some informal training from one of his buddies and without any formal schooling.
