I have not had any issue getting something out of there, East bound stuff more than West. And I will more than likely have to run a local to get a trailer, YUK. I love the scenery of UT but hate to drive around in SLC.

Were you driving there many years ago when they were redoing I80 & I15? What a mess, esp. at night, when they closed down additional sections and re-routed...just passing thru SLC was a nightmare...when I left, the 'mess' had moved north toward Ogden.

EDIT: There was 1 time on a Sunday morning, when they routed all 80 traffic thru downtown & the Temple area..but they got the signs wrong, and many of us truckers kept going round-and-round and couldnt get out of there..and it happened when the Mormons were going to/from Temple...talk about some really mean looks we drivers got..ha ha

Another case to blame truckers who couldnt fight back to the public sentiment..

I-15 is still under construction and a real pain at times to get through especially at night when it seems they do most of there work. I don't mind the interstates so much as I do the surface streets. I do a lot of the grocery and home depot stops (2 or 3 stops) small streets and I have trouble figuring out there address system. I end up relying on my GPS to get around rather than really knowing where I am. Has made for some interesting driving at times.

    My condolences.

What's fun is doing Anthony Rentals multiple-stop loads, with stores that are old 'something elses' converted..often no loading docks. I did a 3-stopper once starting in Provo, then Orem, then Murray..all during evening rush hour in the rain---not fun!
