Then maybe you have an issue. I don't know you drive for, but companies can tell when you were going and when you were stopped.

You're not supposed to edit line 3 with a elog regardless of what the colors are on the sides of the truck. Something had to happen to trigger the line 3 placement. You released the parking brake, a computer malfunction, etc. It doesn't 'magically' happen.

Did you approve the line 4 issue before you tried to edit it? If so, that change cannot be made from your truck. It needs to be made by a auditor.

Argue all you want, the fact is as it stands now, all trucks subject to FMCSA HOS regs will have EOBRs in three years. That is the bottom line. Learn to adapt, or die on the vine.

My company knows when I am running and when I am stopped.I just don't have to worry about a computer changing my duty status while I am sleeping or taking a break.I am perfectly capable of doing that myself when it needs to be done.I don't have issues with the company tracking me.I have issues with e-logs.

I was in an area without service on qual-com both times.I had already done the DVIR and went to bed both times woke up in the morning and had to deal with the changes. It was from computer malfunctions that caused the problems.

There is no specific time cattle are allowed to stand on the truck, and we get no extra time to drive. It's roughly 1700 miles from okechobee Florida to the panhandle of Texas, and the can ride the whole way. However you can't stop for a 10 hr break with cattle on the truck. That is where loose leaf comes into play. No qualcomms no elogs. You load and go. Stop to fuel and check the cattle. That's it.

    Cowmobile and x#1 Thank this.

Although I don't have a problem with Elogs, I do have a problem with the government mandating them. That's why this country is up the creek. More regulations on companies. Thing is, owners just can't ship their jobs overseas like manufactures can.
