( I know this is going to bump the thread but I need the information )
Once we get in the cab, before drive-away, how does Texas DPS conduct the air-leakdown check and should brakes be pulled against stationary vehicle ( safer ) as I have heard brake-pull test is supposed to be done by stopping truck from slow-crawl, which is not the way a mechanic would do it ~ totally proper would be to pull against pedal partially operated then go at a crawl and stop the truck then total / controlled stop from 20-30 indicated on speedo
what else is one supposed to do - by actual experience - for Texas DPS between opening door to get in cab until actual drive-off in conduct of road-driving skills examination?.....
I could be taking the test in a matter of days ~ Texas respondents please, and those who actually took the driving skills test, do not have to be good at it or anything -- I just want to know what they actually did as the supplied study materials are errant ...
how involved is the pre-trip safety walkaround?...

I just went through school. Hope this helps. Came up with this based on my roadmaster instructor. Worked pretty well for me during my cdl road test.

Sorry but I have too much to do to wait beyond 200 milliseconds for ^anything^ - computer or not -
Try these. The PDF looks best imo. If your computer hangs that much on a simple pdf you should think about upgrading lol, if not at least update your adobe flash reader. Its free and google is your friend View attachment pre trip.txt View attachment pre trip.doc
