I have a spot off of I-70 next to the Eagle river....Come Springtime...I park there....Shut it down...Open the sleeper windows wide....And all I hear is the Spring melt of the Eagle rushing by my rig.....Nature's best tranquilizer beside "Getting Some"......
You guys that run reefers,

Looking forward to those nights with the dry van away from a reefer. Especially on those nice days when the APU will not have to run. Those will be nice quiet summer nights in the country.
Everett Thanks this. -
I grew up riding in the back of my dad's old 359. Every summer I would ride with him and 90% of the time I would sleep all day in the back with that old big cam and pipes humming me to sleep. When I quit running a reefer myself I had a hard time sleeping because it was too quiet, so now I run a small fan in my truck. Summer, winter, it doesn't matter, that fan is on. Without it I can't sleep.
