I have a question about the bills you scan as for as the pay:

Im confused on something: Now I know you get paid on your trip when you scan the bills in at the end of your trip. But how do you get paid for the miles you driven when you have to do a repower with somone who takes your load and deliver it. Because now you don't have the bills to scan at the end of your trip cause you didn't deliver it, some one else did. So if you drove 200 miles of that trip then you repower and someone takes your load and deliver and scan the bills how do you get paid for the 200 miles you drove to do the repower.

I hope I'm making sense with that it just confusing

You fill out a "Trip Sheet" with every load. You just send that by itself, and any receipts you need reimbursement for.

If at all possible, i made a copy of the BOL so i would have "Proof" of P/U. They will not try to screw you out of your miles driven on the load, but mistakes do happen. I kept an expandable file folder in the truck to Keep my trip reports in. I kept them for 3 months, just to make sure there were no problems. My DM knew i did that and once had me Fax the copy i had to him because the driver who repowered me off the load, LOST, the BOL i gave him.

I read on a couple posts that stevens wants you to stay out at least 5 weeks. Is that true?

You mean to tell me you can't come home after being out for at least a month. cause thats what I wanted to do was stay out a month and come home for 4 days

Can someone help me with that please

Plan to be out 5-6 weeks, then home one day for every week you're out.
this is pretty standard for OTR companies with newer drivers.

TRKRSHONEY and Rif Raf McQ Thank this.

Oh ok so the 3-4 weeks that the recruiter tell you and what they say on the web site is pretty much a lie?

    Yep get use to it.
If you could work it every 3 weeks that is only 3 days off, and you will only get 2 full days at home. Welcome to OTR

    TRKRSHONEY Thanks this.
