anyone who says that speeding would prohibit the safe miles apparently do not have a truck that goes over 63 mph. Only speeding they do is in truck stop parking lots.

We have all seen some pretty scary truck stop superstars , how safe is that jazz? I think you will agree, the only part that is unsafe about running 75 and 80 is the dopes with the 63mph trucks and trying to work around them....

started in '88.o/o uncle taught me with 2/3 months of intense backing skills training b-4 letting me leave the parking lot scene.6 mnths of ne regional [teamin w/uncle] in 1975 gmc coe.then 10yrs of ltl in the orlando area,m-f 70hrs a wk 10-20 stops per day.had to route it,load it drive it deliver it,make pics, come back and unload it to cross dock it.dont know the actual miles,my guess is 200 per day,520,000miles in 10 yrs, plus the 36,000 as a team driver then average of 2800m per wk for 14 years,2,038,400...thats 2,594,400 so far. ...2 accidents,un chargable, 1 speeding ticket[was set up,just paid it.was cheaper than fighting it by 1000$],one "stopped too close to r/r tracks for the barney fife's comfort' B.S.,2 log violations tickets, one over wt for the bridge that i took to court and won.:biggrin_2554:i 'm not perfect by any means, but i always try to to the right thing.the only reason im here is for my family, and a little DIESEL ADDICTION!!!!:biggrin_25523:unfortunatly for me,the# of companys i've been with as o/o & company driver will not get me any awards or cudos.thats ok,"oh what a long strange trip it's been"

No one is perfect, my moving violations are for brake checking unmarked DOT bears.

Running the plates. If I can see its a cop, I won't do anything. Looks like a normal four-wheeler, I'm gonna push the pedal.

No, I brake check tailgaters. The only time I tailgate is in stop and go... pun FAIL.
I leave maybe 100 feet between my nose and the back bumper.
