After paying my dues in a 65 MPH coffin for nearly 5 years at two next-closest-thing-to-bottom-feeder outfits, having a truck that can do 90 MPH on demand is second nature. I have never even got it going that fast but its nice to know its there.
Our company trucks are set @ 90 MPH and lease/rental trucks set @75
In the 65 MPH states, I never touch 70 unless I get next to that guy who is set @ 68.2 or a hill catches me off guard.
Freightliner Cascadias and Columbias are well known for being a nightmare in the wind, especially empty, mine is very stable @ 75 even with a light 25,000lb load. -

I can relate to what you're saying.I have drove slow trks for 5 yrs then I go with a company with 78 mph trks. It's like yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But after a while I got sick of passing everybody and stayed behind a slow trk.But they are nice when you wanna pass somebody and can't do it with slow trk.The trk I have now,a school bus passes me like im sitting still.
