Hey folks! Its been a while since I was last on the site since I am only home about every 6-8 weeks and don't have a computer in my truck. I tam with my son and we stay on the road for a long time before seeking home time. We get pretty good miles, but they always could be better. I love to hear your experiences and look forward to meeting you if we ever are at any terminal at the same time.

    Wedge Thanks this.

    Hi Tom.

6-8 weeks at a time? You guys should have a computer w/internet and every other gadget under the sun in the truck with all the money you guys are making.

I remember reading about the ordeal you went through and I was amazed that you kept going and did not throw in the towel altogether. I have had a CDL for 22 years, but have not driven commercially for anybody in the last couple of years. I looked at the refresher courses as well. I talked to W&S and they want 160hrs class and living in Washington does not help either with a lot of companies. I have been trying to catch up with an owner operator down the street, but we usually pass each other coming and going. He talked to the girl friend and wanted to give me some pointers. Hope the reset went well and the wheels are turning again.

I have been told that the 09's are being leased or sold. That
one has low miles, but when it is out of warranty it will be sold.

Catching up on your thread, Wedge. That Pilot in Nitro is a dump. I usually stay at the TA down the road in Hurricane. There's a good Chinese buffet behind it.

I was just in Texas and thought of your story every time I saw a cricket...LOL

I always thought it was: The men are men, the women are men and the sheep are scarred:biggrin_2556:

Are you going to start your own thread with your experience? Good luck.
