Hey all, quick question. Me and my buddy go to truck driving school together and in about 1 week we will be graduates. We know that you need atleast 1 yr experience in this industry otr or dedicated before you're likely to land a local job. We are iffy on joining teams tho because you never know what creepy dude your gonna get teamed up with.. well.. can me and my buddy team together? do trucking companies allow 2 fresh graduates to team together? I understand we will both have to undergo training seperately, but after our training is complete with a company can we choose to team with each other? does it vary from company to company? what are some good paying, reputable companies that hire students for teams? thanks for everyones assistance.
Do companies allow new drivers to team together? Can I team with my buddy?

Most will let you team with whomever you want to after training but remember teaming means 24/7 with that person.
Trucker_Matt Thanks this. -
Thanks for theinfo. Any suggestions on good companies for teams

Most do teams. I know MVT runs their teams pretty decently. Most big companies. Not sure about the experience requirements tho! Just call one of them they will be glad to talk with you! good luck

Fellow CDL graduate and I are going to Schneider today for their Orientation in Green Bay. Both finished CDL in May. They're paying us .32 cpm split, $7,000 sign on bonus as rookies (split and paid over 1 yr) and we'll get a 2012 or 2013 Cascadia to start. Look in Schneider forum for detail. Contact Schneiderjobs.com for some detail. *removed referral*

Is that what the recruiter told you? Just talked to a team driver from the big pumpkin company. He is in a older white schneider truck. Saying this is what they got after their orientation! Good luck to you!
