6 months, I think. I had my year. I also have previous reefer exp and all of my endorsements.

I don't mind sharing the fact that I make .37-.42.5 cpm sliding. I cannot guarantee what others could make.

I am happy to report that I have never been so busy since I started trucking. THIS is what I originally wanted when I went to school for my CDL. Happy.

I have a great FM that keeps preplans available for me to choose from. Other
marten drivers I see about all like their job. I feel great about my choice in getting on board.

    Also loving the APU

APU? Is that when you connect an inverter to the refer and run an extension cord into the cab to run a fan so you can sleep when it is hot and the DM is whinning about idle time?

I assume they pay practical miles now,

instead of that 1930's era HHG miles that prime still pays.

If some of you guys are so interested in what Marten is about, why don't you just go to their website & maybe give em a call. Jeez Smaggs ain't even been there a week, he's prolly still trying to figure some of this stuff out himself. Glad to hear you're enjoying the experience so far Smaggs. Also APU > reefer/cord. lol 8)

Marten has you fill out starting odometer and ending odometer on trip sheet. You also declare empty and loaded miles. I don't know yet how they pay exactly, but they do ask us to report discrepancies so drivers don't feel ripped off if they go further than they get paid for.

russellkanning, 123456 and pick Thank this.

Yeah but I forgot the details. It's practical I think. Not as the crow flies.
