Tried the search function but only came up with a couple of older threads. They run out of Eustis FL and WI. They were recommended by the school I recently graduated from trying to get some info so I don't have to start out with Werner.

Call Arnold. The training is very good. Do a search for Arnold Orientation. Newer equipment, good starting com and benefits. Plus a lot of freight contracts in FL. Good luck to you. And pass on Windy Hill and that contract crap.

Arnold was my #1 choice but was told by recruiter they are not hiring in my area.

I had to call 3 times before I was hired. Ask for Tera.
Also try the Comcar companies. One of the guys from my class works for CTL and says its
alright. After you get some experience somewhere a lot of work will open up.
And ignore 123-Stallone. He's still in mourning over his son.

    Gulf Coast Trucker Thanks this.

I Did speak with Comcar they only have a local gig with CTL wanted to get some experience before I started pulling tankers and chemicals.

My goal is to go flatbed but all companies I have spoke to want at least 6 months experience. Didnt really want to but I think I may just go to Werner to get my 1 year in then look for something better they at least seem to have loads to keep you moving They have a terminal that is pretty close to me in Lakeland.

(NSBGearjammer) Tera is the girl I spoke to and she said Arnold wasn't hiring in my area I even had the job placement lady at the school I attended call cause she knows Tera but still no good. Couple guys I went to school with are starting orientation there next week :biggrin_25513:

Try Conway, great starter company and its easy to get home to FL. Windy hill is a bottom feeder company I would stay away, and as far as training goes I would use Werner as a last resort. Start digging into these threads, lots of good info. Good luck.
