I use DAT trucker services...a free downnload shows truckstops, walmarts, fuel, showers, a few loads...and a free weather radar that shows ur location using gps...

Not a prob at all. Sometimes people will ask a similar type of question to an existing thread, but maybe with expansion that helps everyone. In this case though that other thread is really a really good one pertaining to exactly what you asked.

I have Pilot/Flying J, Petro/ TA, Loves and one called Truckstops Pro for finding stops, lot sizes and address to enter in the GPS. I also use an app our parent Co. US Xpress put out that notifies you of pre-assignments and loads. Pretty handy so far. I also use Google maps on satellite to find the truck enterances before I get to a place I haven't been. I also have Transflows app, just waiting for our company to authorized using it. It allows you to take pics of your bills and submit them using the phone.
No more hoping you can get by a TS to scan that big run in before the cutoff for payroll.

I navigate for husband at home now. But I use www.findfuelstops.com to find truckstops, etc on the route. I'm going to have to check out the Dat one you mentioned above and see how it works.

I also use google map to zoom in also. And this if the gps won't pick up the address comes in handy to find an address in the area that maybe it will pickup.

I also use www.411.com to sometimes track down the address dispatch has put in wrong.

I sure don't know how truckers did it before cell phones and having to stop and call a place for directions, you have to be like the FBI now to root out the info.
