    Yes and no. You can have a Wi-Fi hotspot on your smart phone, a Mi-Fi, or picking up from a unsecure source such as Denny's or McD.

    A Hot-Spot is just a source of where you connect too. Wi-Fi is the medium of the connection.

    ....So, in my house, I have a wifi hot spot that I'm using my lap top with. But the 720 can only use this for the weather?.........

    right click again on the Dock shortcut and make sure you are set to run as an administrator.

    I am running another laptop win7/64 bit and the Dock runs with no issues.

    if you still only get the icon in the start up tray, right click on that and left click on open.

    No go. Was working fine before last windows update.Been on hollidays last few wks so haven't used it. Now if I launch dock from shortcut with 720 hooked up then icon doesn't show up in startup tray, if I launch it without 720 being hooked up the icon shows up in the tray but won't launch the program. Have it set to maximize and administrator.Have just uninstalled with revo uninstaller and reinstalled with the same outcome.

    Uninstall it with the Win uninstaller. The revo might be leaving some files in place and not a clean uninstall.

    Control panel/Programs and Features.

    Then install from here.

    The revo uninstaller actually goes pretty deep but will try it again

    That didn't work either, but I found 2 entries in my program folder. One is called the TND Dock but folder is empty the other is RND Dock which has all the program info in it.Also found 2 short cuts one from old install that didn't go away after uninstalling and a new one from the reinstall,I think there is a conflict somewhere but can't figure out where. Did they change the name of the dock from TND to RND

    Should be under C:\users\owner (or your name)\appdata\local\RNDDock

    Be sure to turn on hidden files and folders.

    Sounds like an install is hung somewhere.
