I JUST ordered a TND720 (7/20/12)

    I thought I'd start my own thread so as not to hi-jack someone elses. I just got off the phone with Robert @ Dieselboss www.dieselboss.com I ordered the 720, bean bag mount and two year extended warranty. I'll update this thread as I learn the unit. I had a Garmin 465T that died on me two months past the extended warranty, so I'm trying a different brand. Will someone who has one let me know if this unit has a "Car" mode. I'd like to thank Don Sr., Don Jr. and Mark for helping me with this decision.

    I have a 710 that is about a year and a half old and it has th "car" mode. Be sure to install the software that comes with your TND so you can get the updates as needed.

    Yes, it has the car mode. Had it about 2 weeks, had the 710 for a year and a half. LOVE this unit.

    Yes, we have the Verizon MiFi for internet in the truck. The weather overlays are pretty cool.

    I've been looking into replacing my old TND500 with one of these. It's been through the ringer, is on it's 2nd screen, it's getting slower, the auto dim (day-night mode) isn't working right and well, I'm just ready for an upgrade. Curious to see how everyone likes them.
