Since you bring up the importance of scales. The weight station off I-70 when you first enter Colorado westbound. The blond who works night shift. Is she hot or what?![]()
How come NO ONE talks about the importance of weight scales?

this thread proves that advising others what is happening,or not happening, pertains to all of us out here.I'm sorry that the OP had to learn about scales in the manner that he did.it happened to me @knoxsville EB decades ago and i did not attend a truck driving school.the OP and i had to learn on our own but we are now both enlightened.
regardless of how legal that you think you are running, and how smug you are regarding NOT giving bear/scale reports for whatever reason(those that preach"if you run legal, you ain't got nothing to worry about" mentality),a ticket awaits you when you least expect it.drive long enough and you will get one.you may be able to postpone that ticket by simply giving/getting bear and scale reports, traffic reports, truck on the shoulder reports, etc.we all need to COMMUNICATE out here and push aside the notion that only outlaws worry about what is going on at the scales or that only outlaws worry about where the bear is set up.that bear could have portable scales waiting on you-Ranger70 Thanks this. -
