other than my smart aleck remark the main pro is what someone else has said and that's maneuverability. If I was going to do a lot of city/metro driving especially in the NorthEast then a Cab-over would be my first choice. Long distance, not so much.

A KW cabover would be better . They're chick magnets , especially if you also get a chimpanzee .

Are you talking an Argosy, or something older? BIG difference between the two. JMO.

What are you planning to do with this truck and what year is it? It's probably more like 1,180,000 or more. If you're looking to run OTR, I'd pass. If you're looking for a farm truck, it'll probably do the job. The first truck I bought was a ten year old 91 Freightliner FLA condo with a Detroit 350 and 9 speed. It did fine for a Northeast regional gig, but I was usually back in the terminal on a daily basis.

The Argosey is the US version of the Mercedes. Nice truck.

Daimler Benz owns Freightliner. In Europe, under the Mercedes name plate they produce a cabover model called the Argosy. In the US the sold it under the Freightliner brand.

KMac,i think your info isn't correct.
The few Argosy's that are here , are imported from the USA.
And the Actros, which is the MB European big cab COE(they have a smaller one called the Axor),shares nothing with the Argosy.

The Argosy was a 100% Freightliner design.

It is true that MB owns Freightliner.
