You guys been living under a rock? New HOS to take effect July 2013, unless overruled by a court case. To do a 34 will now require TWO rest periods between midnight and 0500. Worst case is when you roll in at 0005 and start your reset.

Well it looks as though I may have shot myself in the foot as far as going Prime.
Several weeks ago, while still in the hiring process, I was pulled for an expired regisration/inspection.
Low and behold, in the passenger cup holder was a cup with a small amount of wine. This, left over from
a social event the previous evening. Long story short, I got an "open container" ticket as well as for the
expired registration.
Now, I passed a field sobriety test and blew 0.0!
The good news, I got a lawyer, and had the charges dismissed this past Friday... open container and expired registration

Now here's where I went more stupid. I had already been accpted into the Prime program.. but...

I DID NOT REPORT THIS TO MY RECRUITER when it happened several weeks ago. Thinking that it would not show up on my MVR until AFTER the
court date, I let it go. Afterall, I was in fact, ashamed of such a stupid pull over and minimized the serveirty of what this was.

Well, Prime found out and I got an irate email from my recruiter. I did the best I could to explaing everything best I could, but, sufice it to say,
she was plenty PO'd I didn't tell them.
She said I would have to get the charges 100% dismissed, which is what happened and then go to management to see if they will let me back in.
Since court was this past Friday, I have to wait until Monday, 07-30 to pick up the official paper work, then send it in and then wait to see if I can come to SpringMo.
I figure I have a 50/50 chance at best.

I emailed my recruiter and let her know and she seemed really happy for me... we'll see about that, but I think she'll go to bat for me.
I realize Prime has zero tolerance for BS. But, I have learned from this mistake.

Q: Do I stand a chance?

Hello all student here coming in for upgrade. uhhmmm my trainer kinda dumped me off at the millenium and i have no idea what i need to do next. all help would be great.

 

Hello kinda freaking out a little here. came in today for upgrade and trainer hightailed it wont answer phone so im needing to know what i need to do to upgrade and get on my truck. thanks for the help.

 

Get in touch with your FM - you do know who he/she is? They are all up on the second floor of the main building. He can guide you through it, and make sure you mention what a jerk your trainer is for "dumping" you. You need to do this ASAP - when I went through that upgrade, you had classes to attend Monday morning.

You can also go over to the Campus Inn and get a room - it's covered while you're upgrading. Your FM will provide you with some meal tickets as well.
