and not to sound stupid, but are you sure it is your 14 hour clock and you aren't running up against your 70?

If you are low on your 70 hours it will show your day being over before your 14 is up, at least in the upper right corner where it shows your DOT time remaining.

I don't understand? You have been a trucker for four years and the only companies you are looking to apply to are the ones above? Doesn't make sense to me? Those are all just junk OTR companies. The only difference is the color of their trucks. Each and every one of those companies constantly advertise for drivers. Why? Why do they do that? We all know the answer. You seem to aim very low and settle for very little.

Don't you think with four years experience, you can do better than that? Just asking.

And Schneider is not a "junk OTR company". There is many different modes. Place to work for both rookies and experienced.

Well I received a preassignment this morning at 0830, had to deadhead 58 miles to pickup a load in Fairfield CA and deliver it in Salt Lake City at 0800 tomorrow morning. Impossible dispatch and support shift knew it. Got there to pick it up only to discover that the load doesn't exist. Waited on hold for half an hour with support shift and ended up getting pulled off of it. Luckily got a preassignment shortly after so I still got decent miles in although I'll have to call up my dbl on the 31st when she's back tom vacation and make sure I get paid the miles to get there and then back to the French Camp OC.

When did I ever say those were the only ones? Did you even bother to read the post? With that being said, how would you know what I aim or settle for when you don't even know the whole story? Have you always been this much of a presumptuous a-hole?

    KE5WDP Thanks this.

Why are you even concerned with what I'm doing anyway? I don't recall asking for an opinion on that. I asked for more info on the companies I listed. You gave your opinion on that, so thank you for your input and have a nice day.
