Nothing beats a hot fresh cup of coffee. It washes away the worries, lol.JimTheHut Thanks this. -
After I delivered in Searcy this morning, it took 2 hours to get my next W/A. I went to GP in Gurdon where I sat another 2 hours before I was able to back in. It took a little over an hour to tarp it. By that time I knew there was no way I would be able to deliver by 10am tomorrow. As soon as I got back on 30 headed east, 2 check engine lights came on and I got a fault code. I made it back to the yard in NLR and came home. This is the second time this month I've been broke down. At least this time I was able to come to the house.

Went to ecorse after I unloaded. Won the stupid move of the.day award. Went to c dock instead of e for 1.5 hours. Then went to the right dock to find out the power had been out.for 1.75 hrs...so I would have been sitting anyway. When I went back to get my paperwork, the road was backed up, the lot was packed. There was a line out the door and down the steps. It took an hour to get my paperwork. I am heading.g.to millennium steel so I made it to the truck.stop.in carlsile Indiana. Have 50 miles to.go.
On.a positive note, it was good to see all the.steel loads going out of there. -
My FM called me a little bit ago. They told him my truck has to go to Freightliner. Hell, I knew that last night. My question is...Why isn't it already there? So far I have about 260 miles for the week.
Reed in Extended Services told me last night the heat got to several of our drivers yesterday then my FM said that one was taken to the hospital. Don't be in a hurry to secure and tarp. Take plenty of breaks and drink lots of water. Contrary to what we may think, we're no longer 10 feet tall and bullet proof.Flatbedder 1966 Thanks this. -
Are they still placing new drivers into the 2007 Columbia's or have they gotten in more new Cascadias?

I think they are gradually pulling the 07's in. I also think that with the growth spurt in TCD they're probably going to be ordering more new trucks than they originally planned. Just my opinion.
