    I said it makes sense.

I didn't say I agree with it. And hopefully this will be another wake up call.

Personally, (and having been out in yellowstone before the fires.) How bad could it have been if they would have allowed mothernature to control herself? The fuel is allowed to continuously build up, it becomes its own worse nightmare.

And thank you, "Mutual Aid" was the term that was escaping me.

Sorry didn't mean to turn this into a fire thread. Got home at 11 house still here didn't even come close. I was with the forest service as a fire fighter for a few years after high school (had one fire burn 1/2 our property in Wa.) and was wondering why all the pre evacuation orders when it still had a ridge, a canyon and the Air Academy to go thru before getting here. I guess they just wanted people to be prepared. Looks like they got a handle on things as of right now, definitely better than Wednesday when I left. With everything else going on in my family's lives right now the house was one of the last things I needed to worry about. There are a few 130's and helicopter's flying around right still working way up in the mountain. Couldn't really see much from the highway going thru town this morning on 25.

This picture makes me glad we do not have a mutual aid agreement with Colorado at our fire department.

This one looks like it was hanging in the air.

We have grass fires, but nothing like this.
