You will get cited for having any other color lights other than RED behind the sleeper.
We had a Kenworth W900 with all the bells and whistles. Driver was bob tailing through Iowa, state trooper pulled him over gave him a level 1. Reason why he was pulled over in the first place, his rear sleeper lights were blue.
Only violation was the light. $100 ticket.... -
Besides, the cool blue lights won't make you're truck go any faster, and they won't even make the women or other "truckers" drool over your rig, so keep 'em stock and off while running and everyone will be happy and you'll avoid any potential issues with the cops.

The only thing I can tell you is this,if your asking for it,your asking for it. Is it worth it I doint

Banning scale in CA will not tolerate the red/amber led past a certain point on tractor. It had to be amber/amber
One of our guys got a fix it ticket and had to take his lights completely out before State Troopers would sign off on it.
I think it was past the drivers door. -
I use a black light at night so I can see my airlines. It also shows some colourful words on the nose of the trailer... shhh....
