Mark: I know this may be off topic but do you know if Rand will be mfg. a new version of the RV Tripmaker. I think the latest is the 7710. Apparently it is plagued with some of the problems that have been reported on the 710 . I just may end up buying 2 units. One for the RV and another for the truck.
Thanks -
Routing would be different for a truck versus an RV. For example, an RV would make more left hand turns if you are running a 53 Class A RV due to the fact you cannot swing the last half of the RV as a trailer on a truck. A truck is able to make more right hand turns.
POI's are set up differently on both also.
Thanks,

You cannot post a solution? Had the same problem with two 710's

good, i love everything else about it, if that is better then great. i hated the cord on the last ones but liked the unit so much i gave this one a shot. -
I am considering buying the TND 760. I like the 720 features (based on the reviews here) but since the transportation bill has EOBR's in it and could possibly be enforced in a year or two, it'd be cheaper to own an EOBR compliant unit such as the 760 instead of buying the 720 and then an EOBR.
Any feedback on the 760 here? Will it have everything the 720 has, but more? Can I create sub groups for my brokers to access the vehicle tracking page with definable permissions? Wasn't sure if fleetwatcher portal offers that or not.
Thanks for any feedback on the TND 760. -
Just got the 720, to tell the truth I'm getting a little concerned it was a mistake. Lots on nice features but after only a week or two of use it has let me down at least three times already. 1st. It freaked out in Oklahoma City, when I got to the area where all the freeways come together it didnt know where to send me, kept trying to recalculate. 2nd. in Kansas City area while trying to get to an address off the 210, it kept trying to send me miles out of the way insted of just staying on the I435 to the 210 and DONE. And 3rd. in the Aurora CO. area it tried to send me into a residential street. All this in less than two weeks use. At $400 it has me wondering if I made a bad choice, maybe I should have gone with the Cobra 8000?
