They sent me more paperwork in the mail. I didn't get it sent back in in time.

Just wanted to check in with everyone. Sitting here at home, leaving out off of my first home time tomorrow. Got a load of roofing out of IMetco in Norcross, GA headed to a job site in IA for Wednesday. I'm officially a nothing now...got my level/pay bump to 0 as of Monday.

    Speedemon1084 Thanks this.

I hate that norcross stuff. It never fails I get those loads when its a record setting day of heat. Last time it was 109 with 89% humidity... took me 3 hours to tarp that thing.

How ya liking the company so far? I've done 2 oversize since I got my level 1... brought stainless steel to Newton, IL today but took so long to unload that I won't get to load at Decatur till tomorrow for Houston. Was supposed to deliver on wednesday.. fat chance of that... but I requested to get to Oklahoma City to get my twic.. and am still waiting on a response. this comcheck/escort/sitting around wasting time is for the birds... that and Lonestar has spent about 800 on escort fees for me so far and I hate wasting resources.

So far, I have no complaints. Kristen runs my butt off and I usually know well in advance what my preplans are. This load was....interesting to tarp to say the least. It's 1 piece, 900 lb, and the entire length of the lower deck on a SD. Easy to maneuver on/around. but a 2 ft tall, 1 ft wide load in the center of a SD doesnt take a lot of the overhang out of these tarps, especially seeing as how I had to use one of the big lumber tarps and a 20 footer due to length. So far tarping is the only thing that's really given me pause. It's not especially difficult, I just havent mastered folding the ends yet, and rolling them back up on my own is probably free entertainment for anyone watching.

Has anyone showed you how to do it right? Its just as easy as the small tarps just one more step.
