Heh heh, "The Snail Trail," I love it.

As for the schooling in Millington, I made a post about it in a different thread which I'll just paste in for ya:
"I also went to the Millington school and yes, the instructors are militant. But that's what I liked... my first 30 mins on the first day, I was failing hard on straight lining. Ol' Gary rolled up and chewed my ##### after seein' me bomb, I took it and listened. I did it perfectly the rest of the time, every time. Same with the other maneuvers. They are rough around the edges but if you listen to them, what they're telling you is exactly what needs to be done.

As for the women that were in my class, they were shown no favor or disfavor. It was whether or not they could do what they were told to do to make that trailer go in the hole.

All in all in my experience, there could have been more 1 on 1 coaching but, having free reign of a truck and left to figure it out for yourself was something I liked about Millington. Lots of time to mess up and try to figure out why on your own. Now that I'm out there driving in the real world where everything isn't inside cones and spaced to specifications, I'm not looking to someone else for help, instead I'm looking to myself."

And about the physicals, be sure that those were performed within 30 days of the first day of class or they will make you pay $40 for their own to be done on site.

    Sam Hell Thanks this.

You're on your own for the food hoss but, there is plenty of eating establishments within walking distance of the 5 star accommodations. ;-)
Also a couple of stores nearby as well so you can stock up and eat in. The aforementioned 5 star accommodations have a full kitchen.

Read his reply again... "also a couple of stores nearby as well so you can stock up and eat in." Eat in as in get food and prepare it in your room. Sounds like grocery stores or walmart to me.

What's it to you pal. theres a reason i asked specifically for a walmart, it could sound any way it wants to you. Theres a reason i would like to know a specific name of the STORE THEY TAKE YOU to get food. I understood what he said perfectly fine. I was hoping HE..... would go more in depth about groceries stores in the area if i had no transportation.

LOL.... touchy aren't we. All you asked was any grocery stores or walmart. You be careful out there! By the way, I don't think I'm going to be your pal!

They do not drive you anywhere. They *do* have a Krogers within walking distance (about 1/4 mile), a few restaurants and a Walmart (about 1 mile away) and there is a local person who does Walmart runs for $3 per person that leaves shortly after your shift is over for training daily. (There's also a number you can call to bring them around)

I'll offer more information as time allows and I'll try to post a full review of the place when I'm finished. So far, so good. :)
