Secondary tractor protection valve down by the air tanks went out on me again. Now I need to see about getting it replaced... again.

Lol, just my luck. I'm at the flying j in lebec and the shop here isn't going to have a mechanic available for the rest of the day. They also said they don't want to work on my truck as it may void the warranty on it. I'm about 92 miles from my drop for a relay at the El Monte drop yard. SEM is supposed to be calling me back when they figure out what they want me to do.

I guess SEM wants to get my truck and trailer towed 113 miles to the Fontana OC. I tried to explain to them that I can bobtail without any problem but I can't supply air to the trailer without draining my tanks. It would be cheaper just to drop the relay here and have me bobtail to the OC but it seems they'd rather have me wait 2 hours to get towed.

Well, after changing my TAH yesterday, so that I get home on Monday, and start my official days off on Tuesday, I got routed home today. I have reservations for the Dells for Tuesday and Wednesday, and I'm not changing them (especially since my oldest son won't be back until Monday night - he went to some anime convention in San Antonio). I suspect I'll get a call when my DBL gets in, asking me why I still set my NAT for Thursday. Then, after that, I suspect I might be told I don't my next TAH because I used all my month's worth of days off this time around (does that make sense?). Just because freight was soft, and I got routed home, I'm not coming back until Thursday, and I'm not staying away from my family any longer than 2 weeks. I don't mean to be a pain, but that's just the way it is.

I was just complaining to my husband that yesterday I only drove 70 miles. I don't think I've ever had less than a 250 mile day, and those 250 mile days are just me being lazy. Sounds like you need to raise some sorta hades with someone - your miles just don't seem right.

    yea, not.

If I have TAH scheduled, and they send me home a day early, I still stay home until my time is up. If that means I get an extra day, then I get an extra day. Never had my DBL say a word to me. If they get me home late, I take extra days for my TAH.

Just tell em you have a doctors appointment wednesday, so you can't come back till Thursday:yes2557:

That's good to know. Yay for extra days off that I hopefully won't have to be snotty about!

Just say you had plans for that day and leave it at that (if they even say anything). No need to get snooty
