why do drivers stand for governed trucks?

    If your doing around 80mph hauling a fuel tanker...that's insane...I surely wouldn't recommend driving those speeds hauling fuel.

    The tires are the main reason I drive slower, can't put anything taller on the rig I have. Big difference in height between a 11r22.5 and a 265/70/22.5 and also rpm at 60. The shorter tires lets the truck sit lower so I can put trucks and SUVs on my headrack and not worry about height. Big vehicles pay more, pretty simple when you think about it. My trucks spec'd right for what I do.

    if the road conditions are good, I dont know any other drivers that don't drive the same speeds in my area, and ive met a ton of drivers at the loading rack

    i want to make that clear. im not some crazy nut flying down the road with a fuel tanker being totally unresponsible. every other fuel tanker is my geographic area does the same thing. many of them with way more experience than a lot of the people in this thread

    There is a saying, something like the blind leading the blind. Or is it the dumb leading stupid.? Just know know tankers make cool explosions, atleast on TV.
