We have proof off concept. I got the truck back from the mechanic. It was 72 here in Omaha. The truck wouldn't idle. So I took my BIG 1,000,000 Candle Power flashlight, turned it on and put it on the censor. As I type this now my truck is happily idling and my ac is blowing full blast. NICE and frosty, just the way I like it! Next I am going to rerun the censor into the bunk and get my old Thermal Heated Blanket. When I want to run the truck because its too muggy (like now) or shy of 50 degrees and chilli (why should I suffer with extra blankets when I can just run the truck!) I can put the sensor in the blanket, get it above 75 and BINGO! Bob's your Uncle, Fran's your Aunt and I am nice and commfy! And when its time to turn in the truck I just run the wire back. Its REALLY easy access and only takes 4 zip ties! I'll take pictures and put up a how too when I get away from the terminal.

How about an electric heater or use the sun and a reflective pan

I'd go to a cb shop and ask them what they think about that sensor.

Yes, it is possible to idle when it's colder then 25 or warmer then 75. But he want to idle when it's somewhere in between...

Anyone else smell a " Warner sucks, they fired me for altering company equipment and failing to follow company policy" thread coming. Just put the sensor near the exhaust if its that easy to relocate. Or you just go to work for one of the many companies that don't have that bs.

    misterG and moosc Thank this.
