Help me resolve front end wobble on the 06 Volvo VNL670 RH side wheel.

Sounds like the tire to rim, or rim to hub was never properly centered in the first place. Tires can be miss mounted on the rim and run out of round and cause a shake. Rims can also be mounted slightly off center to the hub and then run out of round and cause the same thing. When a new tire is installed you should jack up the axle and spin up the tire to make sure it spins true. You can balance a tire over and over, but if it isn't rolling true you're just wasting your money and ruining the tire!

 

Are the wheel bearings ok and how about the king pins? Or even the tie rod end.

 

Very common problem is where the rim/wheel will not properly center on the hub. There may be some clearance between those centering tabs on the hub and inside diameter of the wheel. When you bolt up the wheel to the hub the wheel is off center so as the complete assembly spins it is spinning out of round. If you jack up the axle and spin up the tire you will see it actually going up and down as it is spinning. This would explain why the problem was still there after swapping wheels side to side. I would say if there something wrong with bearings on that hub you would be going through wheel seals all the time and something would have gotten worse or let go by now.

 

dam new set of CONTI's, and such a new truck as well, hows the front shocks on that side?tie rod end?king pins? simple test can be done with a long pry bar and jacking her up and at certaint pivot points try to find play.

First off what type of wheels do you actually have? Are they Alcoa buds ? Motor wheels ? Sometimes tires are not made well and have imperfections. Why did dealer change them ? They must have know there was a problem. Try a different brand tire. Of course it does get costly but if you need to change tires that's the way to go. Sometimes a bad driver goes over a curb and breaks the belts. Are you the driver all the time or you have the same guy having the problem? Maybe it's not the truck? Maybe the culprit is a driver who can't negotiate corners and drives over them instead. I have followed some drivers and have witnessed it.
