I recently finished my cdl school and want to find a reputable company to drive for. So far I have hit a firewall with sni and im am stalled out. Sitting here spinning my wheels is not good for the income. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

At Tmc you can take home 1k a week as a new no experience driver. I work there now and its not bad. Their training program is one of the best.
-
I work at Conway Truckload and I dig it.
Reply if you want further info.HarrisTX, paul_4lp and Rob-Mack66 Thank this. -
Crete and their sister companies should be a good option.

I am really looking for long haul driving. Does ConWay have that option ? I see the day cabs around town with doubles all the time. I prefer the open road rather than in town work.
-
That's Conway LTL, you want Conway truckload.
-
Conway Truckload is 48 states and Canada forced dispatch. I hit 44 states and 3 Canadian Provinces in my 10 months there. Average length of haul was probably 800-900 miles. Many longer.

I second Conway TL....if you have graduated...Time is not on your side ..get a move on companies will balk at your schooling after 30 or more have past
most companies are forced dispatch ...but not all go to Canada
im sure if your not force dispatch XLS...refuse a few ...and watch the good old boy system start to screw you over!Last edited: Aug 18, 2012
