On bus now to SLC class monday. Greyhound bus riders are odd characters. Lol

 

If you're going to school forget about alcohol until you have your own truck and are on authorized home time! It sucks to be a grown man and skip an ice cold beer at the end of a long day but if I can do it anybody can. Nothing at the bars around the schools worth going home for...

Something that's not really thrown out there about the bus ride. If you fly they'll reimburse you the cost of a bus ticket. If I have my way I'll never be on a greyhound again! Odd characters indeed

 

I only live 3 hours from SLC was gonna drive but got told I couldn't park car at terminal. Not going out while at training, going to read my CDL book and Skype with my kids.

 

so where do you park your car when you hit the road? or how do you get to the yard? if your only 3 hours away.

i'm 5 minutes away and always parked my car.

party starts at 8 p.m.

 

Car is in my garage. Who knows what your allowed to. Recruiters (stupid headhunters) dont no squat.

 

There's a airport parking service pretty close. Can't remember the name and don't know the prices but it's an idea

 

and it's not pretty close. you'd still have to find a ride

anyone coming to school. make sure to bring fresh air and respirators. your gonna need em.

 

Well it's close to where the hotel use to be, but if you shuttle from their to the airport they'll come pick you up. Just throwing out an option...

 

The terminals all have driver parking areas. They are inside the fence, so somewhat secure.
If you live more than like 50 or 100 miles away then you can bring your truck home weekends. I do not remember what the distance was, since I did not live within 900 miles of a terminal.

 

Well it's official, americold in burley ID is now on my shiat list! Took those slow fools 7.5 hrs to unload me this morning. Made me late getting to my next load which is 1600 miles and due wed morning. Guess I'm going to be a driving fool for the next few days. Oh well just another day.
