no one cares about your company.

if you aren't interested in driving for SNI, then go away. Start your own thread, in a different section, about how great and wonderful your company is.

I will tell you what I made my first year at SNI. $295,988. Yep, that's right. I only drove 3 hours a day, never unloaded a trailer, was home every night, off every weekend and off every holiday. In fact, some days I would come in begging for work, and they would send me home for a week with full pay!!!!!

    Now, top that!

Picked up a load on Thursday in Red Wing, MN. Headed to Pensacola, FL for delivery tomorrow. 128 miles empty from Tomah, WI to Red Wing. 1183 Miles to Pensacola.

The Qualcomm wanted me to take every State and County Highway from Minnesota to Florida and never once use any interstates. Deiced I didn't want to take a week hitting every small town along the way. It's about 100 miles OOR, but I'm taking I65 all the way instead.

I had purchased some window screens from another driver for a Century for $20 the day before I got my truck. I was told my truck my was going to be a Century, but it ended up being a Cascadia - So I have screens in my truck that I can't use. I was hoping to sell them to someone, but I really haven't tried. I don't care to keep them in my truck anymore... anybody want them? I suppose I could leave them behind the Driver Services counter for someone if they want them for free. I *think* I'll be at the Dallas OC tomorrow, or the next day. If not there, I could always leave them in Gary. I always seem to find my way there. But honestly, do we ever know where we'll be? Just let me know if you're interested, and we can try to work something out. I could, also, just leave them behind a counter somewhere if a few of you are interested, and have it "first come first served" or something.

I could just give them out for free at an OC to just anybody, but I rather get them to one of you if possible, and if you're in need.

Speaking of... I had a long day of driving my butt off today. In a fit of exhaustion, and being happy that my day was almost over, and that I had lined up Walmart parking near many dining options (It's my birthday, so I wanted to treat myself to a good meal), I started to talk back to Nigel, whom I had set up to get me to my Walmart. He was all like "In .9 miles, turn left to blah blah blah" and I was all like "you got it, Nigel!". I knew at the time that talking out loud to my GPS was kinda silly, but I couldn't help myself. I was just so elated to be done with today.

Then, of course, I make myself out to look like a total newb and sucked at backing at Walmart. I had to be tricky and back between a different truck and the building, and totally blew at it. Exhaustion, backing and me, do not work well with each other. What really sucked is that I totally had it my first try, but then I pulled up to get a better go at it, and totally effed myself up. I even had to get out and GOAL twice. Getting myself to the point of having to GOAL just feels like such a defeat.
