Maybe someone can help. Been scratching my head pretty good on this on. Idle can be adjusted from cruise switch, but truck has NO cruise while driving and engine brake acts like it is cutting on and off while operating. Truck has new clutch switch, engine brake wiring harness, engine ECM (replaced for another concearn and yes has cruise enabled - had same concearn before ecm replacement), speedometer head, and transmission speed sensor. Brake pedal switch is working. Truck does not have steering wheel controls just dash switches. Any help is sure appreciated. -Mark

i had a similar problem on my 08 volvo with isx, as time went on i wasn't able to bump the idle with cruise switch either but ended up being the switch on the clutch pedal needed adjusted and is a common problem from what the tech said, he said the vibration of the road is enough to kick the switch if not adjusted properly
if all else is good i wold think it would be the switchMARK AT PIMCO TRANS Thanks this. -
Clutch switch is new, adjusted properly, and will cut off high idle when depressed. Thanks.

If its a ISX there is 2 speed sensors on the trans 1 for speedo and 1 for ECM,or at least my Pete is that way

Have the same issue on my FLB, with S60, with the cruise. Can bump the idling up but the cruise is not working while moving. I read somewhere there is a switch on the tractor parking brake valve, that can cause this. Don't know if its same for KW. Btw the motor still shuts off after 2mins of idling even with the rpm's bumped.

still does not work ...

Did you get it fixed?
-
Nope still messing with it. Traced and ohmed all wires from speed sensors through body and engine wiring harness. All check out ok. Had local cummins dealer scan truck and it shows no diagnostic codes at all.

Check wiring to batteries.

use insite software to read switches status before you do any ajustment
