    Hey FD,, if you don't mind me asking, how long did it take for them to start those payments? And were there any problems -- like, did you have to do any nagging or anything to get them going on it?

    Well at least your ac compressor didn't catch fire like mine did today. Sitting at freightliner in macon ga waiting to get fixed. And the tow truck ride was crazy driver nearly rear ended to cars at stoplight. It was insane

    My (in house) recruiter actually nagged me as I had forgot about it, and I'm not sure how long it took for it to come through. I looked once and couldn't quite understand my pay statements, and where it'd be listed. I'm sure it's there though, but I should call someone and inquire. I just needed to send in a copy of receipt for CDL school, and my certificate and I did it through email. I don't even know if it's the recruiter who normally sets all that up though - I think mine just really liked me. She's been pretty stellar - she got it so I didn't have to pay extra to get my own hotel room during orientation, was in charge of getting me a truck, and I got a nicer one than any other new employee, and then the reimbursement nagging. Hell, I should send her a thank you card or something now that I'm thinking about it.

    Holy crap! Caught on fire?!?! How on earth does that even happen?

    Sorry to hear you had quite the "adventurous" ride in the tow truck, and hope your wait isn't too long.

    Well I had a busy day today. Only went 402 miles but I had a live unload in Lawton OK, then I went east and did a drop and hook in Ardmore OK, then went east and did a drop and hook in Valliant OK. Now I'm 60 miles from my live unload in Grand Prairie TX tomorrow morning. After that I have a drop and hook in Dallas TX that goes up to Denver CO. After that I'm supposed to be heading back up to the northwest for my tah.

    Caught this little guy at around 0200 this morning after stepping out for a smoke in Northern Texas. I believe its a Texas Longnose or possibly a Great Prairie Ground Snake.

    Yea the center core of ac compressor goes out its like a plastic material that can cause the pulley to break and seize and belt can snap if u don't catch it. On my truck that belt runs water pump so when it goes your never far.

    3rd week out, got level 2 inspection today. Officer was poetry nice and straight forward. 22 minutes to pass
