Stop sugar coating what you're saying. You want the "freedom" to decide to fudge, lie, and cheat.

no, we want the freedom to do o0ur jobs. safely and efficiently. not have to be pressed for miles like you and the guvt want. becuase you just got out of a traffic jam. spent 4 hourts in a accident. and now your sitting on top of a mountain somewhere. out of hours.

you might like your hand held. but we the people. DON'T

if what your uncle says was true. there'd be a whole of trucks put out of service.

and those camers you see. are for the tv monitors inside the truckstop. so that clerkes know somewhere is out there. in case the intercom don't work or they're not paying attention or whatever.

perhaps the drivers will like it when the eobr's will not need any input from the driver and each load programed by the dispatcher and gps telling the eobr when and how long you are at the shipper receiver etc. take the tracking and reporting imput away from the driver or drivers. Then every minute will be tracked correctly. and if the driver missed his mark he will not be able to fudge even a minute. yes that is where we are headed

    I "Boldly" translated.

There is no way you are stuck on a mountain. You apparently your not up to speed on HOS rules and exceptions.

However I know what your getting at, and you want to make that 4 hours on duty sitting in traffic appear not to have happened. Its still cheating, its still lying and its still fudging.

So dont say "No" when anything other than logging legal is cheating. You can throw around words like freedom, and flexibility... its still cheating, lying, and fudgeing.

the cops haven't seen any cheating on my logs. so why do uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu assume.

why do you get mad at us for you insistence on needing your hand held.

is it out fault that you like being pressed for time.

Im not mad at you. Call a spade a spade. Whether or not you are caught or if as you say an officer "hasn't seen cheating in my log book". A liar is a liar. Cheater is a cheat.

A driver fudges or falsifying his logs is still a liar whether he gets caught or not.

Why do you assume that every driver who uses elogs needs their hand held?
