Arrived in texas for upcoming trans am orientation

When I was there, all the trucks already had sirius capable radios installed. Had to get your own subscription tho, to turn them on.

 

if someone left training after 3 days it was because he was an experienced driving moving to a lease not a newbie

 

Well I am in my last week of Driver school and I too have chosen to Drive for TA. I will be going thru all this in 2 week. My bus leaves Clearwater, Fl for Texas on Sept 10th. I am excited.

 

no one that fails a pee test works for transam
think what your saying Company says
"You smoke too much pot for us to hire you but here is a new T700 you can lease and smoke to your hearts content"
learn that gossip in the break room is not worth repeating


All BS aside you come to work here you drive nice equipment and get a start in the industry
no over the road carrier wants you home they want you driving all the rest is smoke and mirrors
get your experience stay or move on find a niche that works for you

 

sent out 29 new drivers out of Olathe yesterday
so if we did that every week our fleet would double in a year
most fade away for various reasons for various reasons
keep your head down and learn the buisness

 

Don't remember which thread talked about getting rid of the local drivers. Saw 1 today, east of KC. Another rumor??

 

oh there are the same 3-4 old guys driving there purple yellow and green trucks around
my only point before is we dont really have a local fleet to be hired on to
willing to bet these guys all been with johnny since the "good ole days"
