I feel like a peeping Tom on this thread ( or peeping Tammy as I'm a girl) hahaha but I responding to the test taking part...for the most part I think all tests are taken on the computor at the DMV and a nice option is if yer not quite sure of an answer you can skip and come back to it and say like the Hazmat part I think mine had 30 questions and I think Ii had to get 26 or 28 right so I I actually didnt have to go back and answer the 2 I skipped hahaha it was all multiple choice so all my stressing for weeks made me laugh at testing time....I really did laugh out loud and scared 2 others in there testing also hahahah hope that helps

Well for me it wasn't that it was easy but I studied my butt off but why I laughed was because it was easier then I had thought it would be and believe me I was just like everyone else...I had put so much pressure om myself that I was losing sleep and even though everyone said just to study but relax it was easier said then done..but you'll do great...just keep studying...my CcDL has been the best decission Ii ever made well besides my son
I haven't got to be on here much in the last 2 yrs but I've enjoyed going bank and reading all old and new posts...This whole forum is a Gold mine

I have been reading the DMV Hazmat booklet and taking the test on the Forums Testing Library and what a great Testing Library it is ,,, and yes I Agree this Forum is a Gold Mine !! I have learned so so much here and the People here are Amazing just all around good people .
I too have a Son and he is well on his way in his New Career, i was finely able to retire from the Hell i was working in to take care of the Family's i raised lol i say family's because i raised 2 children from 2 dif , exes ,, ugh thats another story ,., but im on my own now and my son is well on his way and all i have is me at this point to take care of and i am pretty cheap if i do say so my self lol so ,, i would really like to hop in a rig and not look back ,, this is always something i have wanted to do for many years , in fact i had my permit back in the mid 90's and when my boss ,,, AKA owner of the Company Found out i had a permit and was ready to hit the road i was given a new Job Title and a huge Raise ,,, so ,,,, there went that !!! lol how could i leave i was making very good money ,, but it is ,,,, was ,,, Hell on Earth of a place to work at ,, for ,,, .
I am so happy for you and i hope all works out as well for me i really cant wait to get stated .

I was able to do that too until 2007 when I think some kind of Homeland Security bull$h@t went in to effect. When I tried to renew my CDL and even request an absentee ballot for elections, they refused my requests and said my address was not a residence but a business. they seem to use some kind of database now and can tell. My old PMB only used a regular street address (and no indication it was a mail service). I used it for my CDL, taxes, and everything. But no longer

I wish !! ,, I am going crazy, i want to get out there so bad ,, here is the Deal, my Brother Decided he wanted to take the CDL School with me but he could not do it at the time that i was ready and he needed time to Study the hand book,, so, here i am waiting, but the good new's is i got my Permit Today , also have my Doctors Note, and have filled out everything for the background check, sounds like its all good since I already have a TWIC card, she said i don't have to go down to be finger printed ,, just call back in a week to see that all is ok and walla!! all done , I am getting ready to go down and take the rest of the Endorsements , Tanker's, Doubles triples , Hazardous , passenger, ... I think i am going to wait and do Hazmat last ,, but the rest i think i am ready for I just did not want to take them all at once in one day.
anyway ,,, Are you still out there,, have you gone home yet ? lol last time you said you were out like 6 months and had no thoughts about going home yet ,, how is it going for you any updates would be Great !! thank's
