It might be dedicated but dont assume it will pay more because of %, I talked to a couple drivers with them on the John Deere account , they get paid by salary NOT %.

I live about 20 minutes northwest of Fort Worth, TX. Am I in the "hiring zone" for TMC? Would I have to go all the way to Des Moines, IA for orientation? Lastly, does TMC allow the driver to take the truck home during home time?
-
as for the rest of it, look @ website then call recruiting; or wait for another tmc driver to answer ur question
just sayin -
TMCs Texas Dedicated account is seeking drivers living in or near the Dallas - Ft. Worth or Waco, TX areas. This position will include 80% intra-state travel in Texas and get drivers home every weekend. Freight will be a combination of drop and hook preloaded trailers, and live loading. Top mileage based pay is a feature of this division. Please apply online or Call 800-247-2862, ext.1 for details.
Yes, you would have to go to Des Moines for orientation, yes you take the truck home during home time. You will never be allowed to drop the trailer, so you must have a safe place to park the combination. -
Just submitted my app last night and got a call today from recruiter. About how long should it take to hear back with a yea or nay? I have no problems with history or anything and I was honest when I told him that the reason I am interested in leaving my current company is that the financial outlook is very bleak and I need more stability from my employer. I have bills and a family to worry about and I cant sit around and wait to see if we will still exist from month to month. Hope all goes well and get to head to DM. I have a friend who is with a trainer right now and seems to like it alot

ya it to them bout a day and half to get back to me. i'm in the middle of the first week out here. when they do your app and run your stuff before you come out. all they do is a state and county check. after you get out here you get1 chance to go back over your applaction to change or add anything cause thats when they run a federal background on you right after you hit the submit button. and they tell ya that when it asks if you EVER had anything to make sure its on there cause they go wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy back. we lost a few people cause of that and for failing the drug screen and physical
-
Well was told today that my app is being forwarded to the review board
-
thats werid. only took them a couple days to process mine
-
Well was denied by the review board and of course they won't say why. I know there is nothing in my background or job history that is any problem. Maybe it's where I live. The recruiter said initially that it wasn't a problem but maybe in the end it was
