I've been meaning to mention how everyone here barely commented on the pay raise... I would have if I want suspended from this forum st the time. Maybe 2 or 3 comments from you guys.

I say its a big deal. Given Primes annual vacation milage awards are 120-125,000 miles, that equates to about a $2400 to $2500 dollar a year raise.

Crap, I should move to the NE and get myself a lightweight... I'd be making between .50-.54 per mile depending on my fuel bonus.

Yeah who besides big execs get pay raises these days, certainly not carpenters or soldiers... it's a BIG frickin' deal. Is it having the intended results, presumably getting more drivers to sign on? You'll perhaps attract more experienced drivers as well. Way to go Prime!

Hey ORD: I know you hate those cute trucks, but for a new guy is it an option to take one for flatbed work? Shee-it, .43 cpm to start is mostly unheard of. If you just hate the smaller trucks, you could probably switch back...

If others are doing it, I bet you can.

No way he could, so much "stuff" that even with his rack and side storage box he had dunnage and tarps piled on his catwalk when I last saw him parked in Springfield.

And if he thinks I'm lying, I just say it was mid June and he was parked for at least three days in the same spot next to the stairs at the terminal.

I didn't say that no one posted anything. I said it was hardly mentioned.

Winter is coming... Another headache of listening to you complaining about weather on top of your year round complaints on how you hate the northeast, the northwest, California, I68, central PA, and nearly every mid and large metropolitan area.

Im waiting for the "road warrior" in you who likes to tell the "war story" about shutting down in WY after getting into bad weather and seeing trucks slide off the road. I'd love another opportunity to point out it was entirely your own fault by playing "footsies" with da1 in MO and later sleeping in the next day in Nebraska.

    So keep poking the bear.
