RC, the Pete is a great truck, autoshift aside (I know you prefer a stick). I was thinking that if there was a condo available for you it would be one of the 387s. That would solve the space problem for you.

You wouldn't be in it that long. All the autos are going away as soon as their warranties expire.

The autoshift isn't the only reason I don't want the petes. The dash sits up higher and I'm short, so I have a hard time seeing over it. Call me picky, but I kinda like to see when I'm going down the road! LOL

I'm over here at Springfield now and I see at least a couple 2013 ProStars, not sure height wise how they do, but I know spacewise they are much smaller than your average truck. I've also seen them in Irving and Markham, may wanna see what you can do about that one! Good luck!

I have a prostar now-the single bunk one. They won't give me a double bunk truck PERIOD since I'm a solo driver. I take that back, they will, but it would be an autoshift with a lot of miles on it. They do have some freightliner that are autoshift. Again, rode hard trucks with high miles. Robin, the equipment coordinator in springfield, was the latest one I talked to. Every one of them has said the same thing. I feel like I'm being punished by being a solo driver.

I'm headed right into the path of Isaac. No wonder I can't sleep! I'm headed from TX to ATL on I10. My FM said do what feels safe. Ok. I will stay right here in Orange until the storm passes! LOL I just hope I can get thru LA & MS before it gets bad. Y'all be safe, especially if you're anywhere near here.

I've still got to get to I-55 or I-59 in LA to do that. I'm right on the TX/LA border now.

to Jackson MS and Monroe LA today. Then head west before the
    storm hits.
