    Been seeing numerous add's for this company, in the paper recently. Can anyone enlighten me as to whether this company is good to work for, its good and bad points, etc.? Pay, benefits, etc? Kind of looking for the good and bad of this company from those who work or worked for them. :ogre:

    I had some emergency work done on a reefer unit at there company shop in St George, UT. They were good to deal with and i chatted to a couple of there drivers while i was there and they seemed to like there job.

    I've got a neighbor who has been with them for many years. (At least 20 that I am aware of.)

    However, they do have some "bad habits." For one thing, they rely on DAC. They also limit their trucks to 65. I've heard both good and bad, as with most companies. But one thing really bothers me, and that is a lot of their equipment looks like junk.

    Junk equipment
    low pay
    expect to sweat in summer,bring blankets on winter
    stay far,far away.

    Well, what else would you expect from a company out of Utah? Doesn't matter WHERE they are in Utah, the pay is bad.

    Dont forget that truckstops will be your home away from home. Expect to sit A LOT.
    One of the main reasons a few guys I know left the place.

    Never drove for Andrus, but seems to be a lot of ads on TV, paper, and radio. Since I have no personal knowledge of them, I thought I would ask. Especially since I dont assume they are lousey just because they are a Utah company of Mormon ran. They appear to be no better or no worst then the others out there. I therefore let you tell me if they are good or bad, based on your experience and/or knowledge. Thanks.
