we would ALL be better off if a Western Express driver or two knew that as well, as they are in the "same league" as a Swifty, Werner Prime.....

The brake linings start to smoke first, and then the driver. If the driver isn't a smoker I'm sure he will have good reason to start.

Why not, you need to do that anyway to check your brake lights.

I am not OTR driver, I just worked at Container port for 8 years, I know nothing about the OTR company, I know swift just because I am going to buy a used swift truck.

This one of my biggest pet peeves with o/o 's, they will be going along , whooooooo there 's a stop sign , so they use there trolley brake too stop with, that's why there so much black mark's at the stop sign's, then why that bug's me is, and i really don't care if they do that or not, it's there trailer tires there throwing out the door, but when they do that, there is no stop light switch on the trolley brake , so you have no stop light's , you have too be really on your game when following them, trolley brakes are nice and i'll admit too use them too slow down, lock it down too slide the trailer sliders , but i never slide the trailer's tires at stop sign, that's why swift never put them on tractors unless o/o have them,
