Heading For Little Rock! Maverick

Hey, I will say that without fail- every Prime Truck that I see rolling out there, is New, CLEAN, pretty, nice new, clean trailer....the equipment looks like it is VERY WELL MAINTAINED or BRAND SPANKIN' NEW. That says alot in my opinion. Plus, I have NEVER seen a Prime driver doing the speed limit or exceeding it. They appear to be very safe drivers. I really appreciate that.

Typically your first truck is used then your next truck is new. However even new their payment is really high. A new Cascadia high roof leases for almost $1000/wk and thats before apu rental and other weekly fixed cost. Basically figure $15-1600wk before fuel or maintenance cost. What got me was their freight tended to be slightly cheaper than ours which would make being profitable even harder.

 

Really? Lol. Man I thought I drove slow at 62mph,always havin those maroon trucks blowin past but I pass Prime trucks all day long. They have their company trucks cut back to 58 I think my friend said and lease trucks are governed to 65 due to Canada. There was a time though when that rainbow blur passing you was a Prime truck. There used to be three big ttucks on the road bull racks,chicken haulers and Prime! They owned the left lane lol.

 

So much cheerleading going on. When does the big game start. LOL
